Recorded at Sheffield’s Crystal Ship Studio and Balcony Recording Company with Chris Wilkinson (Rhiannon Giddens, T Bone Burnett, Alison Krauss) the Grammy-winning former chief engineer at East of Iris Studios in Nashville, and featuring guest musicians including world-renowned pedal steel guitar player CJ Hillman (Billy Bragg), and Ambient Americana visionary (and fellow Sheffielder) Bobby Lee, ‘See it Through’ is The December Flowers' debut album. 'Big-hearted, sun-drenched 60s inspired folk-rock from Sheffield via California.'
'The Flowers blend Americana with the folk-tinged spaciousness of California psychedelia, a touch of British music hall pop, 60’s Wurlitzer organ-driven rock, and a hint of Nashville country.... Despite being a debut album, the songs on ‘Seeing It Through’ reflect maturity and the universal experiences of life, celebrating the strength to keep going.'
'....pour yourself a glass of something dark and smoky, perhaps an Islay scotch, dark spice rum stout, or lapsang souchong, light a fire, and listen to ‘See It Through’ attentively.'
